Welcome to my first pinterest fail. I have short legs. I can't find the pin now, but it instructed folding the pants up and sewing just below the original hem (See bottom left picture) then cutting off the access. A few months after They always flip up (see middle left picture) and look stupid. That was when I decided to start sewing again and actually learn how.
I had an old machine in my house growing up, but it didn't see much use. I made a pair of pants once. After that every time I tried to sew someone showed up with something to be fixed and I got bored so I half-assed it.
So, a thank you to this pinterest fail... for annoying me enough to learn how to do it right.
